  5. We are seeking applications for the position of K4 - Structures Engineer (Viaduct) for MML 10 & 12 project. 

Missions/Main Duties

  • Lead the design review, coordination, and execution support for viaduct structural works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and safety standards.

  • Prepare, check, and review structural design calculations, drawings, bar bending schedules, and technical submissions related to piers, pier caps, bearings, girders, segments, and associated viaduct components.

  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including alignment, geotechnical, architectural, E&M, and construction teams to ensure seamless integration of viaduct structures with the overall infrastructure works.

  • Monitor construction activities for viaduct works to ensure execution is in accordance with approved drawings, method statements, quality procedures, and project timelines.

  • Review and approve shop drawings, construction methodologies, temporary works proposals, and contractor submissions related to segmental or cast-in-situ viaduct construction.

  • Provide technical support during site inspections, erection activities, launching operations, stress monitoring, and structural troubleshooting to resolve design and construction issues promptly.

  • Ensure adherence to quality assurance and quality control requirements, including material approvals, inspection requests, test reports, and compliance documentation for structural works.

  • Assist in the planning and tracking of key deliverables, interfaces, and milestones for viaduct packages, while supporting project management in risk identification, delay mitigation, and progress reporting.

  • Participate in client, consultant, and contractor meetings to present structural inputs, respond to technical queries, and support design approvals, NCR closures, and engineering decision-making.

  • Maintain proper documentation of design changes, site instructions, technical correspondence, and as-built records to support project handover, audit readiness, and contractual compliance.

Profile/Skills

  • Education qualification - Graduate Engineer
  • Years of experience - 7 Years
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
  • Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
  • Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority
  • Strong leadership skills, proven ability to lead a team effort & make independent decisions and be a good troubleshooter.
