SYSTRA Canada is an engineering and consulting firm whose primary focus is to offer transportation solutions, whether for passengers or goods: feasibility studies of building a new railway line, increasing the capacity of the existing infrastructure, privatization of a railway.
We are looking for a Cost Analyst to support resource costing, financial bids, and profitability analysis while ensuring the accuracy of financial models and compliance requirements. The role also contributes to joint venture accounting, external audits, and continuous process improvement in a dynamic business environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, and a CPA designation.
Years of experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in cost accounting; project accounting is considered an asset.
Technical skills:
* Bilingualism is required because the role involves working with a diverse client base, including both French- and English-speaking companies. Strong communication in both languages is essential to build solid client relationships, understand their specific needs, and communicate effectively in their preferred language.
