Context

We are seeking a proactive Intermediate Rail Engineer with hands-on CSR experience to join our growing Rail and Transit team.

 

In this role, you will work across the design, delivery, and site integration of major passenger, freight, or light rail projects. Combining technical design with on-site engagement, you will act as a key link between engineering teams, contractors, and project stakeholders.

Missions/Main Duties

  • Support the delivery of detailed track alignment, civil interface, and rail infrastructure designs.

  • Undertake CSR duties, including site inspections, monitoring compliance against design intent, and resolving constructability challenges on-site.

  • Liaise with contractors, local authorities, and client teams to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Assist in preparing technical reports, project specifications, and design documentation.

  • Participate in safety-in-design reviews and risk management workshops.

Profile/Skills

  • 3–6 years of engineering experience within rail infrastructure projects.

  • Practical experience serving as a Civil/Site Representative or delivering on-site technical support during rail construction or possessions.

  • Experience with track geometry, civil interfaces, and relevant industry software (e.g., MicroStation, 12D, OpenRail).

  •  Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across site crews, design teams, and clients.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with working towards chartership
