Context

The Structural Modeller (Revit) will support the Stops & TPSS scope by producing and coordinating architectural documentation for transit facilities. The role focuses on preparing consistent drawing packages across multiple locations while adapting corridor-wide standards to site-specific conditions.

Missions/Main Duties

  • Produce structural documentation and support the federated BIM output.
  • Develop structural 3D models and 2D discipline design files for stops and TPSS facilities.
  • Prepare foundation plans, framing plans, sections, details, schedules, and excavation drawings across stops.
  • Produce external equipment foundation plans, cross-sections, steel framing sections and elevations, general notes, and typical details across sites.
  • Maintain the federated 3D model for both scopes.
  • Run clash detection and prepare clash detection reports at each project milestone.
  • Maintain the asset data handover schema in coordination with S06 Digital Delivery.
  • Extract quantities from the model to support Class 3, Class 2, and Class 1 estimates.

Profile/Skills

  • Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in structural modelling and documentation for infrastructure or building projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit structural modelling, detailing, and sheet production.
  • Experience with Navisworks for clash detection.
  • Familiarity with Metrolinx BIM standards.
  • Experience producing coordinated drawing sets across multiple repeat locations.
