SYSTRA is the Lead Consultant for the HSR project between Ho Chi Minh City and Can Gio.

The Operation & Maintenance Engineer will support the Operation & Maintenance Expert (International) in all technical activities of the Lead Consultant related to Operation & Maintenance.

• Review all Operation & Maintenance readiness activities carried out by the Shadow Operator, Railway Systems supplier and other project stakeholders.
• Review design and construction documents to ensure that O&M requirements are properly considered and complied with.
• Review the O&M Plan, O&M Readiness documentation and other documents prepared by the Shadow Operator.
• Prepare Lead Consultant deliverables and reports related to Operation & Maintenance.
• Coordinate closely with VSP, SGC system teams, contractors, the Shadow Operator, ICE, ISA and other consultants on O&M matters.
• Participate actively in O&M meetings and activities, and contribute to the Risk Register.
• Coordinate with Civil, Track and Railway Systems disciplines whenever O&M requirements are involved.
• Contribute to Interface Management and related meetings where O&M aspects are concerned.
• Contribute to the Safety Case and other safety-related activities.
• Carry out design reviews when required, prepare Review Comment Sheets (RCS) and provide technical comments, particularly on RAM performance and efficiency.
• Monitor and update O&M-related RCS issued by the Lead Consultant.
• Contribute to the development and update of operational plans, including Operation and Maintenance Plans, and ensure that the related processes are followed by contractors and designers.
• Support Lead Consultant construction supervision activities related to Operation Transition Management.
• Organize and participate in O&M-related design and construction meetings, prepare MoM and follow up action plans.
• Contribute to project reporting, including weekly meetings, monthly reports and the O&M-related risk register.
• Perform any other O&M-related task as instructed by the Project Director.

• Good experience in railway Operation & Maintenance and O&M readiness activities.
• Experience working across multidisciplinary railway environments and coordinating with contractors, operators and other project stakeholders.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to contribute to O&M, interface, safety and project reporting activities.
