Context

We are seeking a BIM Specialist to join our Project Management Consultant (PMC) team for an important transportation project here in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in stations environments, including rail, metro, or airport projects, and will play a key role in supporting BIM implementation, coordination, and compliance across multidisciplinary teams.

Missions/Main Duties

The BIM Specialist will support the development, management, and coordination of Building Information Modeling processes throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires close collaboration with design consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure BIM standards, data quality, and coordination requirements are achieved in line with PMC objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and manage BIM models submitted by consultants and contractors for compliance with project requirements and standards.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary models to identify clashes, inconsistencies, and design interface issues.
  • Ensure BIM deliverables are aligned with project milestones, client requirements, and PMC reporting needs.
  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and enforcement of BIM standards, protocols, and workflows.
  • Conduct model audits and quality checks to verify accuracy, completeness, and proper information structure.
  • Support project teams with model federation, data validation, and digital coordination processes.
  • Participate in design and coordination meetings, providing technical BIM input and recommendations.
  • Track BIM-related issues and follow up with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
  • Prepare BIM reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and client-facing meetings.
  • Liaise with project teams to ensure proper use of Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms and document control procedures.

Profile/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant BIM experience.
  • Proven experience on stations projects such as rail, metro, or airport developments.
  • Experience working within a PMC or client-side supervision/management environment is strongly preferred.
  • Good understanding of BIM standards, project coordination processes, and model review procedures.
  • Proficiency in relevant BIM and coordination tools such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and CDE platforms.
  • Ability to review multidisciplinary models and identify coordination issues effectively.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Candidates with KSA project experience will be preferred.
  • Familiarity with regional and international BIM standards is an advantage.
