Context

About the Role

We are seeking a technically strong and self-sufficient Waterproofing Specialist to join our team in Brisbane or Sydney.

Missions/Main Duties

  • Deliver waterproofing design and technical input from project commencement through to completion, with limited guidance.
  • Work across both new-build waterproofing and repair, remedial, and retrofit projects for existing buildings and infrastructure.
  • Provide expertise across assets such as tunnels, buildings, and façades.
  • Take ownership of technical problem-solving and develop practical, high-quality waterproofing solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and proactively engage with stakeholders across disciplines.
  • Operate with a high level of autonomy.
  • Contribute to a specialist capability that is uncommon in the market and highly valued by clients.

Profile/Skills

About You

We are looking for a capable waterproofing professional with strong technical knowledge, sound judgement, and the ability to manage work independently.

  • Engineering degree or strong technical certification background.
  • 5-10 years of experience in waterproofing design, repairs, remediation, or related technical delivery.
  • Background in consulting, remedial engineering, manufacturing, or supplier-based technical roles.
  • Strong product knowledge and practical understanding of waterproofing systems.
  • Capability to take projects from start to completion with limited supervision.
  • Ability to self-manage, use initiative, and work effectively across teams.
  • Experience engaging with stakeholders at a level beyond builders and subcontractors.
  • Exposure to tunnels, buildings, and/or façades.
  • Understanding of both new-build waterproofing and repair or retrofit of existing buildings.
