 We are seeking applications for the position of Lead Design Manager System & MEPF for RLDA CSMT Project.

Missions/Main Duties

  • Lead and manage the design team responsible for MEPF systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection) for large-scale projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality designs that are on-time and within budget.
  • Oversee the development of system designs, including technical evaluations, schematics, and detailed drawings, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and senior design engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments (architectural, structural, civil) to ensure integrated design solutions and resolve any potential issues related to systems integration.
  • Review project specifications, timelines, and budgets to ensure designs are aligned with project goals and
  • Establish design processes and best practices to improve efficiency, accuracy, and consistency across all
  • Ensure that all design work adheres to health, safety, environmental, and quality
  • Monitor project progress and performance, managing risks and addressing any issues or deviations from the original plan.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure the preparation of all necessary documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Profile/Skills

  • Education qualification - Masters in Systems Designs +
    PhD in relevant field
  • Years of experience - 15+ years
  • Prior experience requirement - 10 Years (Experince in High rise building/Stations/Commercial Building/hospital building/hotel/University, is mandatory)
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
  • Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
  • Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority
  • Strong leadership skills, proven ability to lead a team effort & make independent decisions and be a good troubleshooter.
