Currently, we are bidding for Railway projects across India. The position of Chief Project Director (Civil) is the key position in these BIDs.

• Ensure the scope, schedule, cost, quality and performance requirements are clearly defined, monitored and achieved.
• Oversee planning, design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, handover and close-out.
• Monitor contractor performance, progress, quality, claims, variations and compliance with contract requirements; resolve or escalate issues in line with delegated authority.
• Maintain effective working relationships with the client, railway and safety authorities, government bodies, local communities, utility owners, operators and project partners.
• Oversee quality assurance, inspections, audits, document control and compliance with approved specifications, permits and regulatory requirements.
• Provide accurate, timely reports on progress, cost, schedule, safety, quality, risks, decisions and forecast outcomes to the client and governance bodies.

• He/She should have Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering.
• He/She should have  minimum of 20 years’ experience in construction industry including Railway / Highway projects for a minimum experience of 10 years in Railway/linear projects and worked as Chief/senior project director or equivalent position for a minimum of 3 years

OR

• At least 5 years’ experience in SAG or equivalent Grade or above in Civil Engineering or at least 7 years’ service in SG & above in Civil Engineering Department or in equivalent grade in Indian Railways/RITES/ IRCON/RVNL or
  equivalent grades in Konkan Railway/ MRVC/DFCCIL/any JVs/SPVs with Ministry
  of Railways/State govt, any Metro Rail Corporation either individually or combined.
