SYSTRA is the GENERAL CONSULTANT (GC) FOR PHASE-II CORRIDOR FROM JLN STADIUM TO INFOPARK VIA KAKKANAD OF KOCHI METRO RAIL PROJECT.

We are seeking applications for the position of Deputy Expert, Civil in Kochi Metro Project

• Provide total assistance to the Expert Civil in coordinating and administering the Project.
• Assist the Expert Civil in assuring the compliance of all local regulatory requirements.
• Represent the Expert Civil  as delegated and will establish and maintain liaison with client.
• Coordinate with all in assisting client in the preparation of Public relations information and report on the Contractors’ work site requirements and Suppliers’ performance.Civil in Kochi Metro Project 
• Evaluate and make recommendation on the proposals of the Contractors for sub-contracting part of their works, as per the contractual provisions.
• Delivery of civil related works of the project.
• Responsibility for local liaison and overall technical coordination of the project, including with all the units of the GC team and systems team (interface issues), Civil Contractors, CLIENT and various authorities.
• Overall guidance including managerial and technical aspects to the GC team and coordinate the efforts of the various disciplines in the GC team to meet the tight schedule for delivering high quality deliverables.
• Monitor the activities and manage the performance of the GC team.

• Graduate in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum experience of 15 years in relevant field, out of which minimum 5 years experience should be in Metro Rail project.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
• Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
• Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority
• Strong leadership skills, proven ability to lead a team effort & make independent decisions and be a good troubleshooter.
