Context

We are looking for Deputy Project Director (Infra). Who is experienced managing multidisciplinary engineering teams (Project Management & Design Management side) with experience working on high-speed projects (preferred), if not, Rail, Bridges, intercity rail (full scope & not only stations for example).

 

Missions/Main Duties

Profile qualifications:

 

  • At least 25+ years of professional experience in mega projects.
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in Railway industry preferably (High speed project experience)
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Arabic speaker is a must
  • Excellent command of English
  • Familiarity with enterprise project management software, such as Microsoft Project

Profile/Skills

Profile Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and directing technical and administrative project team.
  • Executing and monitoring project activities.
  • Managing changes to scope, cost, and schedule of project work.
  • Ensuring that project plans are communicated clearly and effectively to the entire team.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters.
  • Oversee and monitor project progress, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring the project is completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Identify risks and issues early on, and work with the project team to develop mitigation plans.
  • Escalate project risks and issues to the Project Manager as needed.
  • Ensure that all project documentation is up to date and accurate.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with all project stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication between the project team and stakeholders.
  • Attend all project meetings and take detailed minutes.
  • Assist the Project Manager in developing and updating the project plan.
  • Track and report on project milestones and deliverables
  • Help to identify opportunities for process improvement.
