We are Looking for Engineering Manager for EET Green Line for Cairo, Egypt

Missions/Main Duties

Profile Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of senior railway and civil engineers in charge of design review and integration (embankment, bridges, stations, alignment, interfaces, MEP, utilities, and roads), providing guidance, mentorship, and support for project success.
  • Lead the resolution of cross-discipline design challenges through cost-effective, technically optimized, and compliant solutions, ensuring full coordination between disciplines.
  • Ensure that all projects adhere to industry regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements in the railway transportation sector.
  • Develop and maintain project configuration and ensure change management to the design baseline is conducted throughout the project.
  • Collaborate with various departments of the consultant, with client and with stakeholders to achieve design outcomes, including rail systems, operations, maintenance, external authorities.
  • Implement design safety, conduct risk assessments, and ensure safety is a top priority in all railway engineering activities.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and innovation in railway engineering.
  • Prepare and present detailed progress reports and technical documentation to senior management and stakeholders.

Profile/Skills

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering – preferably in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 18 years of overall experience, of which 15 years in similar rail mainline projects.
  • Experience in high-speed rail would be appreciated.
