SYSTRA has detailed design competency in India in the power supply and overhead lines business in both AC & DC traction. We have also capabilities of designing AC & DC traction, third rail, power supply and OHL. We have experience in executing domestic and some prestigious international projects.

On the Rolling stock, Signaling, Telecommunications, AFC, RAMS & Operations side, Systra India is executing several design review and detailed project reports like: MRVC-CBTC (Migration of Existing Sub-Urban Transit system to CBTC), Bangalore Metro, Kolkata Metro, Pune Metro Phase II, Vijayawada MRTS and Dhaka Metro Line 5N.

We are seeking applications for the position of Transport Planner/ Traffic Engineering for SYSTRA Mumbai Office. 

• Carrying our necessary traffic and transportatoin Studies 
• Development and calibration/validation of transport demand models
• Carrying out traffic due diligence studies
• Undertake analysis of traffic and transportation surveys
• Traffic Impact Studies 
• Preparing technical reports

• Around 5-8 years of relevant Experience
• Master’s degree level qualification or above in relevant subject (e.g., Transport Planning/Engineering or Civil Engineering)
• Experience in Operational Modelling Softwares (VISSIM, VISUM, CUBE)

• Strong data analysis techniques (experience in python programming, macro building, would be a particular advantage)
• Data analysis (including spreadsheets and databases) and problem-solving
• Knowledgeable user of data analytics and mapping tools (GIS) and able to interpret quantitative transport models
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
