Context

Length of internship: internship of 4 months with possibility of extension to 8 months

Location: Montreal

Work mode: hybrid 

Missions/Main Duties

  • Contribute to the drafting of comparative studies;
  • Participate in the technical selection of equipment, checking and validating technical documents. 
  • Work closely with building architects and electrical engineers to ensure integration of charging equipment. 
  • Participate in project progress meetings with customers and partners. 
  • Simulate the operation of 100% electric garages using the TESS software developed by Systra Canada. 
  • Write technical specifications for equipment purchases.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned to you to meet the company's organizational and business needs.

Profile/Skills

Education : 2nd or 3rd year of Electrical engineering studies; 

Technical competencies:

  • Knowledge of medium and low-voltage electrical distribution. 
  • Understanding of single-line diagrams. 
  • Good knowledge of electrical diagramming software: See Electrical, AutoCAD electrical, ePLAN;
  • Knowledge of MS Office suite, SharePoint, etc...
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols is an asset.
  • Familiarity with electrification standards and regulations is an asset.

 

Personal & soft skills:   

  • Fluency in French and English (written and spoken);
  • Collaboration and teamwork;
  • Self-reliance and resourcefulness.
