Context

We are currently seeking a Lead Engineer (Interface & Integration) to manage and oversee all interface and integration activities within our projects. The successful candidate will coordinate with multiple contractors and JV teams, review interface deliverables, and provide essential advice to clients while resolving disputes. This role is integral to ensuring smooth, effective integration across the project's lifecycle. Preferably with experience working in railway projects, or any mega projects having interfaces with multiple disciplines.

Missions/Main Duties

  • Coordinate all contractor groups/JV on interface & integration deliveries
  • Review contractor’s interface deliverables such as: Interface management plans, Interface Controlled Form, Interface Controlled Document (ICD), Coordination Drawings (CSD) etc
  • Resolve interface disputes between contractors
  • Provide technical advise and recommendations to client
  • Overseeing the implementation of agreed interface resolutions
  • Ensuring the overall integration the rail systems and infrastructure, combined with operations and maintenance inputs, delivers a resilient operational highspeed railway system

Profile/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in interface and integration management on railway projects / large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery
  • Experienced in the design phase of the project
  • Able to understand the contract document and identify gaps and areas of concern
  • Understanding of on civil infrastructure & MEP requirements (knowledge on system requirements would be an advantage)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills
  • Arabic speaker is a must
  • Excellent command of English
  • Familiarity with enterprise project management software, such as Microsoft Project
  • Possess good character and ability to deliver expected results
