Prepare studies and technical reports on the pre-design, design, implementation and maintenance of
transport system with particular focus on traffic survey and traffic management.

• Manage the Technical outputs of the team of survey engineers and coordinators.
• Lead the conduct of appropriate on-site transport/traffic surveys and interviews for various
projects.
• Analyze and interpret data gathered from statistics, surveys, and transport studies.
• Evaluate plans and proposals drafted by other engineers and recommend changes (if necessary) in
conformance with established engineering practices.
• Simulate transport problems using computer models and working out solutions.
• Provide necessary assistance/guidance for forecasting the impact of new and planned
developments on a proposed transport project.
• Analyze new project’s impact on the overall transport network.
• Propose modifications pf existing streets, highways, and freeways to improve traffic flow.
• Research and provide advice on best engineering solutions to meet projects needs, budgets, and
timeframe.
• Prepare written technical reports/studies and presentations for various projects.
• Participate in value engineering/value analysis exercises
• Participate in site visits for data collection
• Collaborate with the study/report/proposal team in the preparation of the
studies/reports/proposals.
• Prepare written reports covering data/information gathered/researched.
• Active participation in internal brain-storming activities/progress meetings, and meetings with
clients.
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations/Executive Summary reports for projects being undertaken.
• Review and/or prepare minute of meetings, as required.
• Undertake other duties of reasonable nature.

• 10 years of experience in traffic engineering, transportation planning, or related fields.
Typically, candidates need to have worked in progressively more responsible roles in traffic
or transportation engineering.
• Experience and/or familiarity with traffic analysis software: Familiarity with software like
VISSIM, SYNCHRO, HCS (Highway Capacity Software), SimTraffic, or similar traffic modeling
and simulation tools.
• Strong knowledge of traffic flow theory, signalization design, transportation planning, and
roadway design.
• Proficient in traffic analysis, capacity analysis, and modeling.
• Experience with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and mapping software.
• Familiarity with vehicle-pedestrian interaction, ADA compliance, and safety analysis.
