We are currently seeking a Safety Expert for a short term assignment for one of our projects in Mekkah. This role will be responsible for ensuring the highest safety standards in the operation and maintenance of a railway project.
Oversee safety protocols and procedures for railway/metro operations and maintenance.
Implement, and review safety management systems in compliance with regulatory standards.
Conduct risk assessments and hazard analysis to identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
Ensure compliance with railway safety regulations, industry best practices, and company policies.
Conduct safety audits, inspections, and emergency preparedness drills.
Lead investigations into accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
Provide safety training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
Liaise with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders regarding safety matters.
Monitor and report on safety performance indicators and recommend improvements.
Develop and maintain emergency response and crisis management plans.
Stay updated on evolving safety regulations and industry advancements.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety Management, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
Certification in railway/metro safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IRCA, IOSH, or equivalent) is preferred.
