SYSTRA is the GENERAL CONSULTANT (GC) FOR PHASE-II CORRIDOR FROM JLN STADIUM TO INFOPARK VIA KAKKANAD OF KOCHI METRO RAIL PROJECT.

We are seeking applications for the position of Contract and Procurement Expert in Kochi Metro Project

Assist Project Director in management and interpretation of all Contracts signed between Client and Detail Design Consultant/ Construction Contractor/ Design Build Contractor/ Suppliers etc.

Assist in tendering & procurement of Contractors/DDC, systems, rolling stock depot equipment and other services.

Monitor, review & interpret all correspondence from Contractors on contractual matters and advice Project Director on the line of response.

Review and analyze requests from Contractor and/ or Consultants for variations, check stage payments and statutory & contractual recoveries thereof.

Advise Project Director on matters that must be referred to Client as per contract for acceptance/ final decision.

Assist the Project Director in all contract closure at the end of the project.

• Graduate in any Engg. discipline and MBA/ post graduate/ PG diploma in management.
• Minimum experience of 15 years in relevant field, out of which minimum 6 years experience should be in tendering / procurement and contract management in Metro Rail / Major Infrastructure projects, funded by bilateral or multi-lateral agencies.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
• Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
• Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority
• Strong leadership skills, proven ability to lead a team effort & make independent decisions and be a good troubleshooter.
