Context

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Stakeholder Engineer to join our growing team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, project management, and effective stakeholder communication. The role involves managing relationships with key project stakeholders, ensuring alignment between engineering teams and external partners, and facilitating successful project delivery while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Missions/Main Duties

  • Identify, engage, and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and clients.
  • Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and project teams, ensuring effective communication and understanding of project goals, timelines, and requirements.
  • Provide technical and engineering support to ensure projects are progressing according to specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and assess project risks related to stakeholder interests and propose mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
  • Proactively address any stakeholder concerns or conflicts, working towards timely resolutions that do not impact project timelines or quality.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of stakeholder communications, meeting minutes, and action items. Prepare regular progress reports for senior management.
  • Work closely with the engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure stakeholder requirements are incorporated into project plans and deliverables.

Profile/Skills

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in stakeholder management, project management, or engineering roles within the construction or engineering industries, preferably in Riyadh
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related field). PMP, PMI, or other project management certifications are a plus.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders.
    • Solid understanding of project management principles, engineering processes, and stakeholder dynamics.
    • Ability to resolve conflicts and negotiate effectively with various parties.
    • Fluency in English and Arabic
  • Knowledge of Local Regulations: Familiarity with Saudi Arabian construction regulations, safety standards, and government processes
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), MS Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
