We are seeking a highly skilled Ridership Interface Manager to join our team in the Intercity and Heavy Rail sector. The ideal candidate will be an experienced rail economist, planner, or similar professional with a proven track record in ridership and revenue management, ideally with experience in projects related to both greenfield and brownfield rail infrastructure.
As Ridership Interface Manager, you will provide expert analysis and strategic insights on ridership modelling to various functions within the Project. This pivotal role ensures coherence across workstreams, integrating market assessment, ridership data, revenue forecasts, and operational considerations. You will coordinate modelling efforts to ensure alignment and effective data integration. You will be responsible for leading quality assurance for ridership and revenue models, gathering model development requirements, execution, and comprehensive data analysis. Furthermore, you will support the execution of ridership analyses, interpret data, and deliver clear, concise reports to key stakeholders.
You will lead the Ridership workstream from SYSTRA’s side and be project manager. You will be required to liaise daily with the transport model development team and work in close collaboration across the project Consortium to deliver high-quality and impactful results. This role demands significant interaction across various functional teams. You will be expected to establish and maintain strong working relationships to agree on the scope of work, define delivery timelines, and ensure seamless work processes through regular communication and collaboration.
Profile/Skills
Education: A University degree in relevant subject (economics, mathematics, transport economics, etc.)
Years of experience: Between 5 and 10 years of relevant experience in transportation economics, ridership modelling, or transport planning. Experience with large-scale rail projects is highly desirable.
