Context

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Bids, Submissions and Business Development Coordinator to join our team in Sydney. This role is crucial in supporting our growth within the Infrastructure Engineering sector by preparing compelling tenders, coordinating client meetings, and assisting in the development of successful sales and proposal strategies. The successful candidate will possess strong coordination, marketing, planning, and administrative skills, combined with excellent communication, sales acumen, copywriting abilities, and presentation preparation skills

Missions/Main Duties

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare high-quality, compliant, and competitive tenders for infrastructure engineering projects. This includes coordinating input from various stakeholders, writing and editing content, and ensuring timely submission.
  • Coordinate meetings with clients to understand their needs, present our capabilities, and build strong relationships. This involves scheduling, preparing meeting materials, and following up on action items.
  • Work closely with directors and the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies. This includes identifying new business opportunities, tracking leads, and maintaining accurate records in our CRM system.
  • Prepare persuasive proposals that clearly articulate our value proposition and address client requirements. This includes writing, editing, designing, and formatting proposals to a high professional standard.

Profile/Skills

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a coordination role, preferably within the infrastructure engineering or construction industry.
  • Strong marketing and planning skills, with the ability to contribute to the development of business development strategies.
  • Demonstrated sales acumen, with a track record of supporting successful business development activities.
  • Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive content for tenders and proposals.
  • Proficiency in presentation preparation, with the ability to create visually appealing and engaging presentations.
