Context

As a Project Control Manager, you will be part of DBI Operations team and will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient planning, monitoring, and control of our projects. You will work closely with project managers, technical coordinators / managers, and engineers from the project team as well as with the Client’s team to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Missions/Main Duties

  • Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers to develop detailed project plans (at detailed stage), including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Cost Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and financial reporting.
  • Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular financial reports to project teams and senior management.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and delays. Conduct regular risk assessments and update risk management plans.
  • Resource Allocation: Coordinate the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet project requirements.
  • Progress Tracking: Implement performance measurement systems to track project progress. Continuously monitor project progress, collect data, and analyze key performance indicators to ensure projects are on track.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication among project team members, clients, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency. Attend external and internal meeting when requested.
  • Quality Assurance and Documentation: Understand and implement the organization’s quality process, ensure alignment with Client’s requirements. Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and other project-related records.
  • Change Management: Develop and / or implement the change management plan on a project. Maintain proper change log with qualitative and quantitative analysis. Collaborate with the Contracts Management team to prepare variations and claim proposals.

Profile/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or an equivalent.
  • Proven experience in project control, project management, or a related role within the infrastructure or construction industry.
  • At least minimum of 15 years of overall experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of Rail or Metro project experience
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Preferably with UAE or GCC experience.
