SYSTRA are looking to expand our Signature Team in Ireland, working on high profile infrastructure projects, we are building on our 50 years of success in the UK & Ireland by growing our team and looking for passionate people to deliver projects across our portfolio.


We are now seeking to strengthen and grow our Engineering and Project Controls team in our Dublin office, by recruiting an experienced Reporting Lead.


The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a range of experience within Reporting and Data Analytics through the use of Power BI, ideally from within the Construction and Engineering industry..

Missions/Main Duties

 

The Reporting Lead will be responsible for the performance reporting and monitoring of projects and schemes across our portfolio of infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and accurate performance reporting for the Design and Build Contractors.

 

Main Duties

  • Overseeing the coordination and management of the process and performance reports, facilitating reporting reviews.
  • Establish the performance and reporting functional area at a Site level across the portfolio of schemes, providing strategic direction and overseeing the management of the team
  • Develop and undertake detailed financial and resource planning across the projects
  • Management of the Performance and Reporting activities
  • Act as the point of contact between the site and office teams and stakeholders
  • Responsibility for coordinating all relevant reporting to the PMO
  • Embed continuous improvement and best practice throughout the delivery of schemes
  • Develop reports utilising BI tools

 

Profile/Skills

 

  • Required to have experience across performance and reporting activities through the full project lifecycle through to completion on high value road and/or infrastructure projects or projects of a similar scale and complexity.
  • Experience working in a comparable consultancy environment, or with a client or contractor organisation is highly desirable.
  • Management information analysis, presentation and requirements.
  • Reporting tools and applications:
    • Microsoft tools (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
    • Business Intelligence (BI) tools e.g., Tableau, MS Power BI
    • Cost management systems, financial management
    • Industry recognised publishing tools
  • Relevant reporting with substantial experience in data visualisation and analysis techniques.
  • Project controls design.
  • Delivering continuous improvement programs.
  • Presenting complex technical information to senior management.
  • Deploying resources (organisation / people).
  • Earned value, schedule analysis, and financial performance analysis.
  • Managing high-performing staff / teams including carrying out performance management, undertaking resource planning and embedding a focus on continuous improvement and best-practice.
