In this role, you will oversee the testing and commissioning of all vehicle systems on railway rolling stock (coaches, cab cars, locomotives, gensets, EMUs, DMUs, etc.), ensuring they meet operational and safety standards. This role requires a deep understanding of vehicle systems, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage testing and commissioning processes to ensure the successful handover of fully operational vehicle systems to the client.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or certifications in project management, electrical systems, HVAC, or plumbing are a plus.
Years of experience: Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the testing and commissioning of vehicles or systems, with at least 3 years in transportation or large-scale infrastructure projects. At least 3 years of workshop experience, preferably in a unionized environment.
