Context

We’re looking for a new Project Manager-Architecture in our Architecture Group to help drive the objectives and challenges our valued clients have trusted us to solve for them. 

 

As a SYSTRA US Project Manager-Architecture you will join a world-class team of high-performing engineers, designers, drafters and others who work collectively to ensure client projects continue to thrive while remaining on track and budget.

 

Missions/Main Duties

  • Coordinate all project efforts in order to ensure effective execution
  • Estimate and monitor scope of work and budgets for assigned projects
  • Ability to handle projects of diverse scope and magnitude
  • Works closely with the Principal Architect to execute project plans.
  • Responsible for coordination of all project efforts, administrative, financial, and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects
  • Prepare strategic plans for project success
  • Serve as the primary liaison contact with clients to complete projects on schedule, within budget, with the outmost quality and with maximum client satisfaction
  • Actively manage client budgets, schedules and programs; project communications and documentation; office administrative tasks and project team assignments
  • Assists in the preparation of proposals, estimating fees, determining scope of work, and providing technical narratives
  • Works closely with Principal Architect to directly supervise the teams’ design and technical delivery.
  • Coordinate and manage consultants assigned to projects.

Profile/Skills

Required Qualifications:

  • Registered Architect in NY and/or NJ.
  • 10 to 15 years’ experience with US based architecture design projects
  • Strong understanding of building systems, codes, and construction processes
  • Experience in construction administration
  • Experience with building envelopes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Can be relied upon to present directly to the client on technical and design solutions.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
  • Experience leading project teams and mentoring team members of various skill/experience levels to complete our client’s projects on time and on budget.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in MicroStation
  • Educational facilities experience (K-12 and Higher Education)
  • Public Housing experience
  • Transit facilities experience

Salary Range: $120,000-135,000 SYSTRA USA is providing the compensation range that the company believes it might pay and/or offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
