Systra’s Systems business in India has design and project management capabilities in the systems space. Experts in railway equipment, our teams are experienced in choosing the best-adapted solutions to each situation while meeting various regulatory standards.

SYSTRA has detailed design competency in India in the power supply and overhead lines business in both
 AC & DC traction. We have also capabilities of designing AC & DC traction, third rail, power supply and OHL. We have experience in executing domestic and some prestigious international projects.

On the Rolling stock, Signaling, Telecommunications, AFC, RAMS & Operations side, Systra India is executing several design review and detailed project reports like: MRVC-CBTC (Migration of Existing Sub-Urban Transit system to CBTC), Bangalore Metro, Kolkata Metro, Pune Metro Phase II, Vijayawada MRTS and Dhaka Metro Line 5N.

We are seeking applications for the position of Sr. O&M Expert - K2 for MMRDA Line 6 - Mumbai 

 

Missions/Main Duties

 

  • Global Exposer of working with different Signalling systems & Practices.
  • Familiar with CENELEC standard for Railway Signalling viz. EN 50126, 50128 and 50129
  • Have good experience of Design, Installation & Commissioning, Maintenance and Project Management & Consultancy of Metro & Main Line Railway Signalling system
  • Expertise in modern railway Signalling systems like Electronic interlocking/Computer base Interlocking (CBI), Relay interlocking, AFTC, MSDAC & Level Crossing.
  • Design & Checking of Circuit Book Design for Location Case & Level Crossing, Indian Railway Signalling Arrangement Plan (Scheme Plan), Control Table (Route Control Chart), Cable core Plan, Aspect Control Chart, Cable Route Plan, Control-cum-indication panel diagram, , Power/Load Calculations for Signalling system (Indian Railway Practice).
  • Preparation/ Review of various documents like Project Management Plan, Procurement specifications, Technical Specification, Design Management Plan, Interface Management Plan etc.

Profile/Skills

  • Planning, Testing & Involved in Installation, telecom sub systems PAS. Testing and Commissioning activities of communication systems (RADIO, DTS, CCTV, Telephone, ACIDS, PAS/PIDS, Master Clock, CVRS and CTFRS),
  • Fibre optics backbone telecom system & communication based used in metro (Telecom, signaling, AFC) Preventive and corrective maintenance activities of communication systems.
  • Conducted ITP/PAT/SAT testing and completed site level interfaces (E&M, Civil, signaling, track etc.) for physical & design interface requirements Analyzing the performance of all communication systems, identify the cause of system failure and develop maintenance schedule to prevent future failures.
  • Involved in preparation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) of COM systems.
  • Snags verification and rectification of COM systems after completion of systems installation.
  • Involved in RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety) testing. Involved in Testing of ITP, PAT and SAT system test cases along with vendor
  • Managing all the system assets through following Asset Management system.
  • Following all PTW procedures and safety measures while executing maintenance activities.
  • Accepting responsibility to act in a safe manner at all times to work within the safety systems developed for their workplace.
  • Working as a PIC (Person in Charge) while performing preventive and corrective maintenance activities there by following all safety standards.
  • Cable laying (trenching, wiring)
  • All type of foundation work.
  • Point work (Motor point fitting, wiring, testing & commissioning)
  • Track circuit work (Execution of Junction box, Location box, wiring, testing & commissioning)
  • Signal Eraction (wiring, testing & commissioning)
  • Mechanical & Electrical barrier Lifting.
