The Opportunity:
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in key infrastructure projects across Australia. As a Trenchless Consultant, you will provide support, and expert technical advice on all aspects of trenchless design and construction. This role will see you working on a diverse range of projects, from initial feasibility studies and concept designs through to detailed design and construction support. You will work closely within a small team of expert trenchless engineers, with the potential opportunity to assist within other areas of the wider SYSTRA group. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake the design and analysis of small diameter tunnels, shafts, and underground.
• Provide expert advice on a range of trenchless methods, including microtunnelling, auger boring and HDD.
• Provide design and implementation of trenchless technology solutions, including microtunnelling, pipe jacking, and horizontal directional drilling (HDD).
• Undertake geotechnical analysis.
• Ensure designs and technical documentation comply with relevant Australian standards and client specifications, including for example, Transport and Main Roads (TMR) specifications.

Required Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 10+ years of experience in civil or geotechnical engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in trenchless technology design and construction.
• A strong understanding of geotechnical engineering principles and their application to tunnelling and trenchless technologies.
• Proven experience working on major infrastructure projects, preferably in the public utilities sector.
