Context

The Reporting Engineer plays a key role in project control and performance monitoring by collecting, analyzing, and consolidating technical and progress data across various workstreams

Missions/Main Duties

  • Develop and maintain regular reports (weekly, monthly, ad hoc) to track project progress, performance metrics, and KPIs.
  • Interface with planning, cost, risk, and construction teams to consolidate project controls data.
  • Present complex data in clear formats using Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI Dashboard.
  • Provide insights and trend analysis to support management décisions.
  • Maintain structure documentation and ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports.
  • Support progress and management meetings with data extracts, charts, and presentations.
  • Ensure alignment with project reporting standards and Client requirements.

Profile/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role within project controls, PMO, or reporting, ideally in large-scale infrastructure programs.
  • Prior experience on a railway project is essential – candidate must understand terminology, work packages, and project context.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Strong skills in data visualization, report automation, and dashboards.
  • Excellent command of written English with the ability to produce clear, concise, and well-structured reports and presentations.
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and practices (Primavera P6, SharePoint, etc.) is an advantage
  • Previous experience working in a PMC environment is desirable
