We are seeking applications for the position of Billing Engineer for Redevelopment of CSMT Project, RLDA at Mumbai Location in Maharasthra. 

The Billing Engineer will be responsible for managing all aspects related to project billing, measurement, and certification of construction works as per contract terms. The incumbent will ensure accurate and timely submission, verification, and approval of bills in compliance with contract requirements and PMS (Project Management Services) standards for the CSMT project.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Verification of Bills:
  • Review and verify bills received from contractors as per EPC agreement.
  • Coordinate with site teams for checking measurement books, supporting documents, and reconciliations.
• Reconciliation & Documentation:
  • Maintain records of work done, measurements, and billing logs.
  • Ensure reconciliation of quantities and materials as per project records.
  • Prepare and maintain all billing-related documentation for audits and review.
• Compliance & Coordination:
  • Ensure billing is in compliance with contractual terms, GST, and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with client representatives, contractors, and internal teams for bill clarifications and approvals.
• Reporting:
  • Prepare periodic reports on billing status, pending payments, and variations/deviations.
  • Support in the preparation and verification of RA (Running Account) and final bills.
• Support in Claims & Disputes:
  • Assist in preparation and substantiation of claims, extra items, and cost variations.
  • Support resolution of billing disputes and technical clarifications.
• Quality & Safety:
  • Ensure all measurements and billing processes consider safety standards and quality requirements.

• Education qualification - Graduate Civil Engineer
• Years of experience - 05 Years
• Prior experience requirement - 02 to 05 Years in billing role.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
• Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
• Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority
• Strong leadership skills, proven ability to lead a team effort & make independent decisions and be a good troubleshooter.
