Context

This position is for the role of Domain Expert – Road (Digital Transformation) for Telengana CPMS project

Missions/Main Duties

  • Act as the subject matter expert in road engineering within digital transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with technology, design, and construction teams to identify automation and optimization opportunities across the asset lifecycle.
  • Lead the adoption and integration of digital tools such as BIM, GIS, digital twins, and predictive maintenance systems.
  • Define data standards, ensure interoperability between platforms, and establish quality control benchmarks for infrastructure data.
  • Guide the development of analytics dashboards, simulation models, and visualization tools for road performance and project delivery.
  • Contribute to digital training programs to build competency across engineering and operations teams.
  • Evaluate new technologies (AI/ML, IoT, drone mapping, etc.) for their application in road development and asset management.

Profile/Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in road/highway engineering including planning, design, and construction supervision.
  • Strong understanding of road materials, pavement design, and transportation systems.
  • Experience with digital tools like AutoCAD Civil 3D, InfraWorks, BIM platforms, GIS, and project lifecycle management software.
  • Familiarity with data analytics, digital asset management, and smart infrastructure principles.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-engineers.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and digital upskilling.
