Context

As the Program Manager – Digital Transformation, the expert will lead the planning and execution of SYSTRA India’s digital transformation programs across capital infrastructure projects. He will be responsible for driving innovation, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making through the implementation of advanced digital tools and frameworks.

Missions/Main Duties

  1. Strategic Program Leadership

 

  • Design and execute the Digital Transformation roadmap for infrastructure and PMC projects across India, ensuring alignment with SYSTRA’s global digital strategy.
  • Lead end-to-end implementation of digital platforms (BIM, CDE, Digital Twin, AI-enabled PMIS, Lean Construction tools, etc.) across multiple business lines.
  • Define success metrics, ROI frameworks, and business value realization strategies for digital initiatives.
  • Serve as the transformation leader bridging the gap between business needs, technology, and delivery teams.

 

  1. Implementation & Change Enablement

 

  • Drive adoption of digital tools across all levels of project execution — from site operations to strategic management dashboards.
  • Champion change management frameworks to ensure behavioral, cultural, and process alignment with digital ways of working.
  • Develop and institutionalize standard operating procedures for digital project delivery.

 

  1. Stakeholder Management & Governance

 

  • Act as the central liaison between clients, project directors, corporate leadership, and technology partners.
  • Establish robust governance frameworks and PMO reporting structures for ongoing digital transformation projects.
  • Prepare executive-level dashboards, progress reviews, and performance insights for top management and client CXOs.

 

  1. Capability Building & Knowledge Management

 

  • Curate and deliver training programs on emerging digital tools and transformation methodologies.
  • Foster a digital-first mindset by promoting continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Create internal case studies and success stories to amplify digital adoption impact.

 

     5.    Innovation & Market Intelligence

 

  • Continuously benchmark against global best practices in digital construction, project controls, and predictive analytics.
  • Collaborate with internal R&D and product development teams to co-create next-generation solutions for the infrastructure sector.
  • Explore partnerships and pilot programs with leading technology providers to strengthen SYSTRA’s digital leadership position.

Profile/Skills

  1. Education:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical or equivalent).
  • Postgraduate qualification in Management, Digital Transformation, or Technology Strategy (MBA preferred).

 

  1. Experience:

 

  • 12–18 years of progressive experience in Digital Transformation Consulting, Program Management, or Technology Enablement roles.
  • Prior experience with Big Four consulting firms, engineering consultants, or capital project advisory preferred.
  • Proven experience in implementing enterprise-level digital solutions within large-scale infrastructure or construction programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams, senior stakeholders, and multi-million-dollar transformation portfolios.

 

  1. Technical & Soft Skills:

 

  • Strong understanding of Digital Project Management, BIM/GIS/Digital Twin, and AI-driven analytics.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and executive presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, influence decision-makers, and deliver measurable outcomes.
