The Lead Planning Engineer will be responsible for leading planning and scheduling activities for High Speed railway projects. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining detailed project schedules, conducting critical path analysis, and providing accurate progress reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
Responsible for
Analyze progress curves, histograms, and other visual representations to identify trends and potential issues.
Provide early warnings to subsystems and identify critical path activities.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil,Construction Management, or a related field).
Minimum of [e.g., 8-10]+ years of progressive experience in project planning and controls within the railway.
Proven experience as a Lead Planning Engineer on major railway/transport mobility projects is highly preferred.
Expert proficiency in project management software, particularly Primavera P6.
Strong knowledge of planning methodologies (e.g., Critical Path Method, Earned Value Management).
Familiarity with railway specific engineering, operations, and regulations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
