Geotechnical Engineer

Main tasks and responsibilities, inter alia:

• Supervises all engineering and geological works and applied geotechnical measures during construction in all stages of contract execution;
• During construction, at locations where a new danger of geological hazard or environmental threat is identified and foreseen, due to the interaction of the geological environment and engineering works, alerts the Contractor to immediately take preventive measures, establish monitoring and conduct additional engineering-geological surveys, and reports this to the Construction Manager, the Client and the Investor;
• Approves the Contractor's plans and reports related to engineering-geological work, monitoring, new surveys and measures taken.
• Supervises the quality of works and the accuracy of measurements of all quantities of engineering-geological works; performs control tests in accordance with the specifications and regulations of the Republic of Serbia in the laboratory for control;
• Reviews and provides an opinion on the submitted requests of the Contractor. Performs a price analysis for upcoming and unforeseen works and makes recommendations to the Construction Manager who then prepares the final version of the recommendation and informs the Client who ultimately decides on these matters;

• University degree in a relevant discipline
• Serbian Speaker

• Good knowledge of the English language

• Minimum 5 years of specific professional experience with the Serbian License No. 391 related to Geotechnical design and Licence No. 491 related to Geotechnical site investigations
