Electrical Engineer

• Responsible for reviewing and coordinating the design and implementation of lighting, power distribution, Fire alarm, Emergency lighting, Earthing and Lightning protection, ELV systems, ensuring compliance with Dubai/UAE, CIBSE, international standards (e.g., IEC, BS, DEWA,DCD, etc.).
• Coordinates with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems with MEP, architectural, and civil works, and manages interface with others disciplines. HVAC, Fire fighting, Dewatering, Escalator/Elevator and power supply systems.
• Prepares and reviews technical documentation, calculation notes, cable schedules, shop drawings.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Relevant certifications and experiences with Duabi regulatory requirements are an advantage.

Background:

• Minimum 8 years of experience i in the design, of electrical systems, preferably on metro rail or large infrastructure projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Software knowledge on ETAP/Amtech/Dialux/Relux and Review knowledge on Revit/Navisworks
• Strong knowledge of medium/low voltage distribution, lighting controls, electrical load calculations, and local authority approval processes is required.
• Successful track record on rail and metro projects
• Ability to lead, develop and motivate a team
• Preferably with UAE experience, GCC experience would be advantageous
