Currently, we are bidding for Railways projects across Bangladesh. The position of Project Manager (Team Leader) is the key position in these BIDs.
Perform the role of "The Engineer" following FIDIC.
• In-change of overall supervision of the
construction works.
• Responsibility for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, risk
management, quality control, time & cost management and closure of
a project.
• Manage and superintend the day-to-day working, utilization, implementation
and technical consultants engaged on client assignments. Assign tasks
of all other experts
• Co-ordinate among experts of head office and field offices; Employer, Contractor & subcontractors and required support levels. If required arrange trainings.
• Monitoring the progress, prepare a standard progress report and submit
it in due time.
• Arrange presentation/meeting/works hops for Project Steering
Committee/Project Implementation Committee/Other Government agencies etc.
• Graduation in Civil Engineering or equivalent relevant degree having 20
years of general/professional experience and generally 15 years of similar experience in Railway field/large Transport Infrastructure field with minimum 5 years' experience
as Project Manager/Team Leader in Railway Projects.
• Substantial experience in FIDIC based ICB contract management will be preferable.
Working experience in SAARC/ASEAN region would be preferable.
• Having experience in leading ADB and/or other MDBs funded railway projects will be
considered as added advantage.
