Currently, we are bidding for Railways projects across Bangladesh. The position of Resident Track Engineer is the key position in these BIDs.

Missions/Main Duties

• Ensure the work is done according to shop drawings, Yard plan, work plan/schedule, quality assurance plan, safety plan and methodology approved by the "The Engineer".
• Manage and superintend the works of the staff working under him, day-today field working and utilization of available experts to monitor the construction works and provide assistance during defect liability period.

• Examine work plan/schedule and methodology submitted by the Contractor and recommend if any improvement is required.
• Assist in preparation of draft Work Procedure Manual, required drawings &
methodology and detailed proposal for submission for GIBR approval.
• Assign specific tasks to the national senior, mid-level and junior Track Engineers
for successful implementation of the work.
• Address RFIs submitted by the Contractor for construction of Track etc.
• Assist "The Engineer" for time and cost management for the successful construction of structures.
• Dealing with any other work assigned by "The Engineer" as per provision of TOR.
• Other tasks assigned by the Employer.

Profile/Skills

• Graduation in Civil Engineering or equivalent relevant degree having 20
years of general/professional experience and generally 15 years of similar experience in Railway Track works with minimum 5 years experience as Track Engineer.
• Working experience in SAARC/ASEAN region would be preferable.
