We are seeking applications for the position of Disaster Management Expert for Mumbai Coastal Road Project 

 

Missions/Main Duties

  • Develops and implements disaster preparedness and response plans
  • Identifies and assesses potential risks and hazards
  • Coordinates emergency response activities and resources
  • Conducts training and simulation exercises for staff and stakeholders
  • Establishes early warning systems and communication protocols
  • Ensures compliance with disaster management laws and guidelines
  • Leads damage assessment and needs analysis during and after disasters
  • Facilitates evacuation, rescue, and relief operations
  • Manages resource allocation, logistics, and supply chains during emergencies
  • Collaborates with government agencies, NGOs, and community organizations
  • Organizes recovery, rehabilitation, and reconstruction efforts
  • Monitors, evaluates, and updates disaster management strategies
  • Prepares and maintains emergency documentation and reports
  • Promotes public awareness and community education on disaster preparedness
