We are seeking applications for the position of Bridge Engineer (Special Bridges) for Mumbai Coastal Road Project 

Missions/Main Duties

  • Design new bridges and modifications to existing structures
  • Perform structural analysis and calculations
  • Prepare technical drawings, plans, and specifications
  • Conduct site investigations and surveys
  • Review and interpret geotechnical and environmental data
  • Prepare cost estimates and project budgets
  • Oversee and manage bridge construction projects
  • Inspect bridges for safety and structural integrity
  • Write inspection and maintenance reports
  • Recommend and supervise repair or rehabilitation works
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory codes
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
  • Attend meetings and present technical solutions
  • Maintain records and project documentation

Profile/Skills

  • Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles
  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., STAAD, SAP2000, AutoCAD)
  • Understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., Eurocodes, AASHTO)
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Site inspection and assessment skills
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Report writing and technical documentation abilities
