In India, SYSTRA is an international consulting and engineering company operating in the fields of Metros, High Speed Rail, Railways, Roads, Buildings, Urban planning, and Water Infrastructure for public and private organizations.

We are seeking applications for the position of Principal Quality Manager for PMC for upcoming infrastructure development project in Gujarat.

• Quality Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement project-specific quality management plans (QMP) and procedures in line with ISO 9001, relevant codes, and client requirements.
  • Define quality objectives, key performance indicators, and inspection/test strategies.
  • Coordinate with project leadership to align quality strategy with project goals and timelines.

• Quality Assurance (QA)

  • Review and approve design documents, material specifications, and supplier submittals for compliance with project quality requirements.
  • Lead risk assessments and quality audits throughout the project phases.
  • Ensure effective implementation of lessons learned and continuous improvement processes.
  • Oversee contractors and suppliers to ensure adherence to quality requirements and specifications.

• Quality Control (QC)

  • Develop inspection, testing, and sampling procedures for construction materials and systems (e.g., playing surfaces, lighting, seating, HVAC, etc.).
  • Oversee site QC inspections and ensure non-conformities are identified, recorded, and rectified.
  • Validate the operation of critical systems through factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), and commissioning activities.

• Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage and mentor quality teams (inspectors, engineers, auditors) on the site and in the office.
  • Serve as the primary quality contact for the client, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
  • Organize and lead quality-related meetings, workshops, and training sessions.

• Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare and present periodic quality reports, dashboards, and non-conformance records (NCRs) for project leadership and the client.
  • Ensure the proper documentation and traceability of all quality-related records according to project and regulatory requirements.

• Minimum of 15 years of overall experience with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Large Infrastructure Project.
• Graduate Engineer.
• Post Graduation in Quality Management or equivalent course.
• Large Infrastructure Project like, Smart Cities/Industrial town ships/Residential Town Ships/Hospitals/SEZ (Special Economic Zone/Public Buildings).
• Experience of working as Principal Quality Manager on at least 1 large infrastructure
  project of value more than Rs.1000 crores.
