We are seeking an experienced Planner/Scheduler to join our Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team for major rail/metro infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in planning and scheduling within the rail/metro sector, and demonstrate mastery of Oracle Primavera P6.

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6 in line with project requirements.
• Integrate schedules across multi-disciplinary teams and stages (design, procurement, construction, commissioning, handover).
• Analyze critical path, variances, delays, and resource allocations; provide mitigation and recovery solutions as required.
• Support preparation of baseline programs, extension of time claims, and schedule impact analysis.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives and deliverables.
• Prepare and present progress reports, forecasts, KPIs, and dashboards for internal and client review.
• Monitor and report on resource utilization, productivity, and milestone achievements.
• Ensure compliance with PMC scope and contract requirements.
• Conduct schedule risk analysis and advise on potential issues to project outcome.
• Facilitate project meetings related to schedule and progress.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years proven planning and scheduling experience in infrastructure/rail/metro projects, ideally within a PMC environment.
• Expertise in Oracle Primavera P6 is essential.
• Strong understanding of project controls, earned value management (EVM), and schedule reporting.
• Experience working across all project stages, from design to commissioning.
• Familiar with FIDIC or similar forms of contract.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, and other planning tools (an advantage).
• Experience within the MENA region or on major international metro/rail projects.
• Planning certification (PMI-SP, PSP, AACEI, etc.).
