We are proud to deliver Project Management Services to the Rail Land Development Authority (Indian Railways) for three major railway station projects: Mumbai, New Delhi, and Ahmedabad. Our involvement spans the entire project lifecycle, ensuring comprehensive support throughout each stage of implementation.

 

We are seeking applications for the position of Chief Interface Manager for Project “Project Management Consultancy Services for Re-development Project of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) Railway Station and Construction of Associated Infrastructure".

 

Missions/Main Duties

  • Reports to the Project Director and responsible for technical coordination.
  • Responsible for Technical delivery of Project.
  • Review of Conceptual and Detailed Design as per the Technical Standards and Specifications.
  • Coordination with Railway officials.
  • Reply of communications from Client and EPC Contractor.
  • Ensure Quality Checking and Quality Assurance of the deliverables and as per the Client requirements.
  • Coordinate and discuss with technical experts on inter disciplinary clashes of the design.
  • Leading technical coordination meetings, preparation of minutes and trackers. Maintain a log of co-ordination issues (who needs what from who, by when)
  • Check for compliance from clients, third party reviewers and coordinate with the technical experts.
  • Supports the Project Director during the meetings with technical aspects.
  • Keep track of all deliverables to the client, identify and raise Early Warnings for any delay in submissions.
  • Tracking comments and accountable for ensuring comments are closed out and designs are updated to reflect comments.
  • Ensuring that internal interfaces are identified and resolved within the production team.
  • Ensure team meet Programme and resolve technical blockers.
  • Highlight key issues/ delays to Project Director.
  • Ensure the safety compliances, conduct safety training as per group policy mainly 3S training.
  • Instigate and organize information and training sessions dealing with health and safety,
  • Organize risk assessment for the workplace
  • Technical and Project Coordination Skills
  • Deep understanding of multidisciplinary project workflows, especially in complex infrastructure projects.​
  • Ability to identify and manage interface points between various teams, contractors, consultants, and external entities.​
  • Experience developing and implementing detailed interface management plans and protocols.​
  • Strong leadership qualities to guide teams, resolve cross-functional issues, and maintain project alignment.​
  • Excellent communication skills to facilitate coordination and negotiate solutions among multiple stakeholders.​
  • Ability to present complex technical and commercial matters to management and stakeholders clearly.​
  • Proficiency in project management tools, document control systems, and MS Office.​
  • Strong analytical capabilities to anticipate risks, track interface actions, and document decisions comprehensively.​
  • Attention to detail for maintaining traceability and accuracy of interface-related documentation.​
  • Proven ability to manage expectations and resolve conflicts between internal and external parties.​
  • Experience liaising with government authorities, clients, and multiple contractors on large-scale projects.​
  • Capability to lead and chair interface coordination meetings, ensuring issues are identified, documented, and closed out effectively.​

Profile/Skills

Overall Qualification -Graduate Engineer + PG in Project Construction Planning 

Overall experience -Experience > 25 years
Age < 58 years

Experience in Similar Position- >8 years

Experience on Eligible Projects > 10 years (Eligible Projects are Railway, Metro, Airport, Hospital, Commercial Buildings)
