Context

Technical Coordinator Concrete Track & PMO (M/F)

Missions/Main Duties

Reporting to the Project Director, you hold a key position with two skills:

  1. Technical Coordination: You are the privileged technical interface between SYSTRA's internal design teams and the customer's technical experts, guaranteeing the alignment and validation of the "concrete track" solutions.
  2. PMO (Project Management Office): You will assist the project management in operational management, by monitoring schedules, costs, risks and quality.

Detailed responsibilities

  1. Technical coordination axis (concrete lane)
  • Client/Design interface: Ensure the daily coordination between SYSTRA's design teams and the client's technical teams.
  • Concrete Track Expertise: Bring your expertise (acquired in studies or works) to challenge solutions, analyze technical issues and facilitate decision-making.
  • Deliverable Management: Manage the review and validation circuit of technical documents (plans, calculation notes, specifications) by ensuring their compliance with the client's requirements.
  • Problem Solving: Identify technical pain points, misinterpretations and propose pragmatic solutions in advance.
  1. PMO (Project Management)
  • Planning: Participate in the development, updating and detailed monitoring of the planning of studies and work phases (milestones, critical paths, resources).
  • Risk Management: Assist project management in the animation of the risk and opportunity register (identification, evaluation, action plans).
  • Cost Monitoring: Contribute to budget monitoring, variance analysis and preparation of project financial reports.
  • Quality & Reporting: Implement and monitor project performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure the preparation of reporting materials (dashboards, progress reports) for the team and the client.

Profile/Skills

Technical Skills Required

  • Education: Engineer (Bac+5) in Civil Engineering, Public Works, or Railway specialization.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience imperatively acquired on railway infrastructure projects including concrete track.
  • Dual skills: Significant experience in the study phase (design) and/or in the works phase (site monitoring, construction engineering) is essential to understand all the issues.
  • PMO: A first successful experience in a PMO or a demonstrated strong appetite for project management (planning, costs, risks) is required. Mastery of planning tools (MS Project, Primavera) is a plus.
  • Language: Fluency in English required
  • Ability to interact with a variety of interlocutors (technical experts, customer, managers).
  • Rigour and autonomy
