Our services cover the entire life cycle of the project implementation.

Currently, we are bidding for Semi High Speed Rail projects across India. The position of Chief Quality Assurance & Quality Control Expert is the key position in these BIDs.

Missions/Main Duties

  • Establish the Project Quality Management System (PQMS): Develop, implement, and enforce the overarching Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Integrated Management System (IMS). This includes all QA/QC policies, procedures, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and document control for the entire project life cycle (design, procurement, construction, testing & commissioning).

  • Oversight of Construction & Materials Compliance: Direct and monitor all Quality Control (QC) activities across all civil, track work, signaling, overhead electrification (OHE), and rolling stock components. This includes managing site inspections, material testing (e.g., concrete, ballast, rails), lab operations, and ensuring strict adherence to approved method statements and specifications.

  • Non-Conformance and Corrective Action Management: Establish a robust system for Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), including root cause analysis, tracking, and the timely implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to eliminate quality issues and prevent their recurrence across the project.

  • Regulatory Compliance, Audits, and Certification: Ensure all phases of the project comply with relevant national and international rail and safety standards (e.g., railway-specific codes, ISO 9001). Lead the project team through internal, client, and third-party regulatory audits to secure all necessary quality certifications and project handover documentation.

  • Quality Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to the entire project's QA/QC team (inspectors, engineers, managers) and ensure quality requirements are effectively cascaded down to all contractors and subcontractors through training and clear communication.

  • Supplier and Vendor Quality Assurance: Define and manage the quality requirements for all critical vendors and suppliers (e.g., for track components, signaling equipment). Conduct source inspections and audits (FATs/SATs) to ensure procured materials and systems meet contract specifications before delivery and integration.

Profile/Skills

  • Graduate in Civil Engineering with working Knowledge of reading, writing and Speaking in English.
  • Minimum 20 Years post minimum qualification experience in Infrastructure sub sector related to Transport & Logistics.
  • Relevant Experience - 05 years’ experience on Preparation, Implementation and monitoring of Quality Assurance Plan and procedures in Infrastructure sub sector related to Transport & Logistics as Chief Quality Assurance & Quality Control Expert or equivalent position. The period of relevant Experience at the position immediately below the proposed position in organization shall also be considered but its weightage for the period shall be 50%. (For example, 02 years will be considered as 01 year).
  • Total experience as Chief Quality Assurance & Quality Control Expert or equivalent will be evaluated considering the period as Deputy Chief Quality Assurance & Quality Control Expert or equivalent with the weightage mentioned above.
  • Eligible Assignment - Must have Experience of one "Eligible assignment" as Chief Quality Assurance & Quality Control Expert or equivalent position or one level below to the proposed position.
  • The period of Eligible Assignment at the position immediately below the proposed position in organization shall also be considered but its weightage for the period shall be 50%. (For example, 02 years will be considered as 01 year).
  • If assignment period is more than 2 years on a particular project, the number assignment will be considered as follows:
    Min. 4 years = 2 Assignments
    Min. 6 years = 3 Assignments
