Currently, we are bidding for Semi High Speed Rail projects across India. The position of Chief Testing and Commissioning Expert is the key position in these BIDs.

• System Integration Strategy & Planning: 📝 Develop the comprehensive Master Testing and Commissioning Plan (MTCP). This includes defining the T&C strategy, budget, schedule, and necessary resources for all railway subsystems (Signaling, Power, Rolling Stock, Telecoms, Track, etc.) and ensuring their successful technical and operational integration.

• Statutory Compliance and Safety Certification: Act as the primary technical point of contact for obtaining Statutory Clearances and Safety Certification from regulatory authorities (e.g., Commissioner of Railway Safety). This involves managing the preparation and submission of all critical safety dossiers and test reports.

• Lead System Integration Testing (SIT): 🔗 Direct the complex interface testing between major subsystems, such as validating the communication and functional response between the Signaling System (e.g., ETCS), the Rolling Stock (trains), and the Power Supply/Traction system.

• Operational Readiness & Trial Run Management: Oversee all stages of trial and dynamic testing, including running trains at maximum projected speeds to validate ride quality, braking performance, and system stability under real-world conditions. This culminates in declaring the line ready for shadow operation.

• Defect Management and Resolution: Establish and enforce a rigorous process for managing Non-Conformities (NCs) and defects found during T&C. The expert is responsible for tracking all open items to closure and verifying that corrective actions do not negatively impact other system interfaces.

• Handover, Training, and Documentation: Lead the formal Handover Process to the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team. This includes approving final system manuals, maintenance procedures, and ensuring the operational staff is fully trained and competent to safely run the railway.

• Graduate in Engineering with working Knowledge of reading, writing and Speaking in English.
• Minimum 20 Years post minimum qualification experience in any Rail based Passenger Transit system.
• Relevant Experience - Must have experience of 5 years for (02) two works of Planning and supervising Trial tests and commissioning of subsystems of Rail based Passenger Transit system and obtaining statutory approvals for Commercial operation as Chief Testing and Commissioning Expert or equivalent position. The period of relevant Experience at the position immediately below the proposed position in organization shall also be considered but its weightage for the period shall be 50%. (For example, 02 years will be considered as 01 year).
  Total experience as Chief Testing and Commissioning Expert or equivalent will be evaluated considering the period as Deputy Chief Testing and Commissioning Expert or equivalent with the weightage mentioned above.
• Eligible Assignment - Must have Experience of one "Eligible assignment" as Chief Testing and Commissioning Expert or equivalent position or one level below to the proposed position or one level below to the proposed position.
• The period of Eligible Assignment at the position immediately below the proposed position in organization shall also be considered but its weightage for the period shall be 50%. (For example, 02 years will be considered as 01 year).
• If assignment period is more than 2 years on a particular project, the number assignment will be considered as follows:
  Min. 4 years = 2 Assignments
  Min. 6 years = 3 Assignments
