We are proud to deliver Project Management Services to the Rail Land Development Authority (Indian Railways) for three major railway station projects: Mumbai, New Delhi, and Ahmedabad. Our involvement spans the entire project lifecycle, ensuring comprehensive support throughout each stage of implementation.

 

We are seeking applications for the position of Accountant for Project “Redevelopment Project of Ahmedabad Railway Station and construction of associated infrastructure, RLDA.”

Missions/Main Duties

  • Prepare and submit the monthly invoice to authority by the 10th of every month. Check the invoice of JV partner.
  • Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions in accordance with established accounting principles and standards. Prepare financial statements, reports, and schedules for management review and analysis.
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and efficiently. Monitor accounts payable and receivable balances, follow up on outstanding invoices, and reconcile accounts to ensure timely and accurate payments and collections.
  • Assist in budget preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis for the NDLS redevelopment project. Track expenses, compare actual performance against budgeted targets, and identify areas for cost savings or expenditure adjustments.
  • Manage cash flow projections, forecasts, and disbursements to ensure adequate funding for project activities and obligations. Monitor bank balances, reconcile bank statements, and manage petty cash funds as needed.
  • Conduct financial analysis and performance evaluation to assess the financial health and viability of the project. Prepare ad hoc financial reports, analyses, and presentations to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and internal controls. Assist in internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and support as required.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, including GST, TDS, and other statutory filings, in compliance with Indian tax laws and regulations. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations affecting the project.
  • Ensure the safety compliances, conduct safety training as per group policy mainly 3S training.
  • Ensure every team member must have gone through Business Ethics and compliance training
  • Ensure every project member has knowledge of Environment policy of company.
  • Ensure each member of team has gone through 9 lifesaving rules
  • Everyone had gone through the Anti-Corruption training.

Profile/Skills

  • Having total 2-3 years' experience and Minimum 2 years in similar position for Diploma/Graduation (Finance)- with relevant experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
  • Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
  • Ensure compliance of the Systra Group policies, particularly on ethics, safety and adherence to Company ISO 9001 and 14001 Standards.
