We are seeking applications for the position of Infrastructure Specialist for GIS based Master Plan in Andhra Pradesh.

Missions/Main Duties

  • Integrated Infrastructure Planning & Design

    • Develop comprehensive infrastructure master plans covering water supply, sewerage, sanitation, and urban drainage systems for the project area.
    • Conceptualize, design, and optimize solutions for both new and existing urban or industrial developments.
    • Utilize latest engineering practices, innovations and technologies for sustainable infrastructure development.
    • Analyse site conditions, demographic trends, and regional growth forecasts to project future infrastructure needs.
  • Technical Review & Coordination

    • Review and validate technical proposals, preliminary and detailed designs from multidisciplinary teams and external consultants.
    • Ensure infrastructure plans comply with statutory norms, technical standards, and sustainability requirements.
    • Coordinate with architects, urban planners, transport, and environmental specialists to ensure integration of infrastructure plans within overall urban/regional development vision.
  • Stakeholder Engagement

    • Interact effectively with government agencies, municipal bodies, utility providers, and other stakeholders for data collection, design inputs, and regulatory approvals.
    • Support client consultations, workshops, and public participation processes related to infrastructure elements.
  • Project Delivery & Reporting

    • Prepare technical specifications, design drawings, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and tender documentation for infrastructure components.
    • Monitor project progress, quality assurance, and ensure deliverables are submitted on schedule.
    • Prepare infrastructure planning and design reports, presentations, and statutory submissions.

Profile/Skills

  • Master’s degree in Infrastructure Planning, Public Health Engineering, or equivalent specialization from a recognized and accredited college/university.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in planning and designing integrated infrastructure systems (water supply, sewerage, sanitation, drainage) for metropolitan cities, urban areas, industrial regions, or large-scale area development projects.
  • Demonstrated experience working on complex projects of comparable magnitude and nature.
