Context

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Landscape Architect to join our growing environment and engineering team. This position within the team will suit a committed and ambitious individual who can demonstrate strong technical and interpersonal skills combined with commercial awareness and the ability to play their part in growing a dynamic high-performance team.

This role can be based from our Birmingham, Leeds or York offices; however we are open to considering applicants from other locations depending on suitability.

 

With a focus on the design of Linear Infrastructure and Transportation they will also technically support other Product Lines in the UK and overseas, the post-holder will be part of a growing team of UK engineers delivering projects for a diverse portfolio of UK clients.

Missions/Main Duties

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate some practical work experience. This is a good opportunity for an enthusiastic Landscape specialist to further their career in a highly motivated and inspirational environment.

  • Support and assist the Landscape Discipline Lead on project deliverables, particularly on HS2 MWCC, and with the general operations of the Landscape Discipline.
  • Assist Discipline Lead and other team members with production and technical deliverables.
  • Assist Discipline Lead in Developing and implementing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery, and the quality, of output within the discipline and on individual projects. 
  • Maintain strong working relationships, communication, knowledge sharing, innovation sharing with SYSTRA resource centres around the world and our industry partners and supply chain.
  • Participate in industry events to engage with new Clients and Partners.

 

Profile/Skills

  • BA (Hons) or MA in Landscape Architecture 
  • Expected to have general skills in Microsoft Office suite of software packages
  • Good command of written and spoken English
