Currently, we are bidding for Metro Rail projects across India. The position of Deputy Project Director Civil is the key position in these BIDs.

Missions/Main Duties

  1. Support Project Leadership: Assist the Project Director in overseeing civil engineering aspects throughout the metro project lifecycle.
  2. Supervise Civil Works: Manage and coordinate all civil construction activities including tunnels, viaducts, stations, and related infrastructure.
  3. Quality Management: Ensure that civil works meet the required quality standards and specifications; implement quality control procedures.
  4. Progress Monitoring: Track progress of civil activities against the project schedule; report delays and recommend corrective actions.
  5. Contract Management: Support in administering civil contracts, including monitoring contractor performance and handling change orders.
  6. Safety & Compliance: Promote safety culture and ensure all civil works comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  7. Resource Allocation: Plan and allocate resources for civil works, including manpower, equipment, and materials.
  8. Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with designers, contractors, government authorities, and other stakeholders for smooth execution of civil works.

Profile/Skills

  • Graduate in Civil Engineering
  • 22+ years in railway or railway related industries, out of which minimum 7 years in Metro Projects.
