Context

The HR Lead is responsible for day-to-day HR operations at SYSTRA Egypt, with a focus on supporting recruitment, personnel administration, payroll, and compliance.

The role leads both the HR Operations and Talent Acquisition teams to facilitate the HR activities of the branch.

Missions/Main Duties

Local Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Oversee the recruitment activities to support the hiring objectives of the branch.
  • Coordinate onboarding and integration of new employees, promoting company culture and values.

HR Operations & Administration

  • Implement, and periodically update HR policies and procedures.
  • Supervise HR administration, ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of employee records, contracts, and documentation.
  • Address employee relations issues.
  • Follow-up of employees attendance, absenteeism, leaves according to the applicable policy and laws.
  • Participate to HR audits, compliance checks, and government inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with Egyptian labor law and SYSTRA policies.

Payroll Management

  • Lead the end-to-end payroll process, guaranteeing timeliness and accuracy in line with local labor regulations.
  • Review monthly payroll inputs, including attendance, allowances, penalties, and deductions.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team on salary transfers, audits, and budget planning.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and social insurance.
  • Prepare payroll reports and analyses for the CEO.

HR Analytics & Reporting

  • Produce HR reports on turnover, absenteeism, and other key indicators for local management and SYSTRA Group as required.

 

Profile/Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Background:

  • Minimum 6 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years leading a medium-sized team.
  • Experience in construction or engineering sectors.
  • Thorough knowledge of Egyptian labor law and local HR practices.
  • Proven ability to manage HR administration and recruitment teams effectively.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
  • Proficient in HR systems and MS Office.
