Currently, we are bidding for Metro Rail projects across India. The position of Chief Rolling Stock Expert is the key position in these BIDs.

Missions/Main Duties

  • Lead the technical evaluation and selection of rolling stock systems to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety, and operational requirements.
  • Oversee the design review, manufacturing, inspection, and testing of metro trains (rolling stock), ensuring quality control at all stages.
  • Coordinate with rolling stock suppliers, contractors, and project teams to manage interfaces, resolve technical issues, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Review and approve technical documents, drawings, and material submittals related to all aspects of rolling stock.
  • Support system integration, commissioning, and acceptance tests to ensure smooth integration of rolling stock with other metro subsystems (signaling, track, power supply, etc.).
  • Monitor compliance with safety, reliability, and performance standards, and ensure all certification and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Provide technical leadership and training to project engineers and staff on rolling stock technologies, maintenance strategies, and operational best practices.

Profile/Skills

  • Graduate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • 20+ years in rail related major infrastructure project/railway/ metro. Shall have experience of writing and execution of RS procurement specification and managing/reviewing detailed design of RS in at least two Metro railway project.
